The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach was established July 1, 2001. A group of dedicated volunteers saw the need to have an agency in North Myrtle Beach that would address the issue of homeless animals.

The mission of The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is to find loving and permanent homes for abandoned animals; provide first rate veterinary care through our experienced, local veterinarians; offer low cost spay and neuter programs for dogs and cats, and to reach out to children, teachers, and parents through the education of pet responsibility. The heart of our organization is our dedication and professionalism.

Board Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Meetings are open to public. If you would like to attend, please email director@hsnmb.org for meeting location information or invitation to ZOOM meeting.
