This week of Thanksgiving will be 4 years since I adopted Lilly (Freckles) from The Humane Society of NMB. She had lived there for a year without being adopted. She touched my heart and when my other fur child accepted her, she came home! She is still very shy with strangers, but I am so thankful to be the one to care for her and love her unconditionally, as she does us! Thank you to all the caregivers at the humane society, we are blessed to have such loving, dedicated people there for the animals!
