Bona & Hari

Bona and Hari came to us in November 2025 as a bonded pair with big hearts and an even bigger love for each other, but somehow they kept getting overlooked time and time again.

Fast forward to this past March, when Julie had recently moved to Little River and was settling into a new chapter of life. After losing her senior cat before the move, she knew it was time to open her heart and home again to pets in need.
When she saw Bona and Hari online, something just clicked. “As soon as I met them I knew they were coming home with me,” and she was right.

From the moment they arrived in their new home, it was like they’d always been there; taking over in true cat fashion within about 20 minutes. Bona wasted no time showing off her signature style of affection (and her complete disregard for personal space), while Hari settled into her role as the observant sidekick, following Julie from room to room and keeping up a steady stream of “conversation.”

Together, they’ve fully embraced the good life: sunny windows, warm morning light, and endless opportunities to play (especially with each other). Julie shared, “They love all the windows and the morning sun to bask in. They’ve both been very friendly with new people. The two of them are characters and love to play with each other and toys. I am so glad I found them and thankful that The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach took such good care of them until they found their new home.”
