Summer is a busy time for animal welfare organizations. There is often an increase in animal intake and demand for services. This means more animals need help and why the Petco Foundation and The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach are inviting the public to Be A Lifesaver this weekend at Petco.
The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will have adoptable pets at the Petco July 7 & 8th located at 596 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 from 11am to 3pm for the Petco Foundation’s national Be A Lifesaver adoption weekend.
The adoption event will feature deserving pets from our community that need a second chance. Adoption fees will be reduced to $45 for dogs and puppies and $20 for cats and kittens.
The Petco Foundation, in partnership with thousands of local animal welfare organizations nationwide, has helped unite more than five million pets with loving families through adoptions in Petco stores. Additionally, the Foundation has invested more than $200 million since 1999 in lifesaving animal welfare organizations in communities across the country.
