Walked into PetSmart (was up for adoption thru The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach) on 08/01/2010 and there she was! It was our last day at the beach before heading home. We stayed an extra day so that the onsite clinic could check her out. Bought a carrier for her to travel home in (then it was almost a 7-8 hour drive) and the rest is history. When we stopped for a rest or shopping on the way home, she would go inside with us. She was only 12 weeks old at the time & weighed 3 pounds. Great adoption experience with NMB & PetSmart. Every time we visit Myrtle Beach, we make it a priority to visit PetSmart to check the adoptees out. Sadly, Sophie passed a few years ago, but we would do it all over again!
