In February of 2018, Jerry’s whole world changed. At just two and a half years old, he stepped out of the shelter and into a brand-new life, and from that very first taste of freedom, he lifted his head and howled at the sky. It was as if he knew: this is what happiness feels like. And it was all thanks to Nick, who opened his heart and gave Jerry the chance he had been waiting for.
Since then, Jerry has embraced every moment of his second chance. He’s a certified car-ride enthusiast, a butterfly-watching expert, and a professional couch-napper. His absolute favorite pastime? Sprinting around the park.
This past June, Jerry celebrated his 10th birthday, and you’d never guess it.
