Ivy, formerly known as Serenity, came to our shelter in September 2024, a beautiful, loving dog who seemed to have it all. We thought she would be adopted in no time, but somehow, she kept being overlooked.
Fast forward to July, when Karen and her husband came to the shelter looking for their perfect companion. The moment they met Ivy, it was love at first sight! They knew she was meant to be part of their family.
Now, Ivy is living her best life. As Karen shared with us: “Her favorite thing to do is to “help” her Mom and Dad with whatever they are doing, from baking Christmas cookies to assembling furniture. She’s traveled to CT to meet her Pitty cousins Jax and Bruce. She’s a big Cuddle Bug and we love her to pieces!”
