Cleopatra

Cleopatra, formerly known as Rolo, began her journey with us in February when she was just 4 months old. Sadly, after only a short time in her first home, her family faced an unimaginable challenge. Their child developed a severe allergy that led to hospitalization. Heartbroken, they knew they had to make the difficult decision to part with Cleopatra for the sake of their child’s health. When they reached out to the rescue where she had originally been adopted, they were told returning her wasn’t an option. That’s when we stepped in. With the urgency of the situation, we made space to welcome Cleopatra into our care.

Though shy and sweet, Cleopatra didn’t have to wait long for her happy ending. When Alexis came to our shelter searching for her next furry family member, she met Cleopatra and everything changed.

Here’s what Alexis had to say:

“Cleopatra came to us as Rolo, but she was so regal we had to pick a royal name! She came in searching for love and definitely found it. She and her four-legged brother Cujo are inseparable. They love playing tug of war and wrestling all day! She also really enjoys her human sister and brother and all the playtime they have together. She even took her first camping trip, where she slept so well in the tent and enjoyed her cooling mat. She is such a welcomed and loved family member! Thank you all!”
