The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach was established on July 1, 2001. A group of dedicated volunteers saw the need for an agency in North Myrtle Beach to address the issue of homeless animals.

Mission statement:
The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach exists to provide care,
comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to promote compassion and positive relationships between people and animals.

Vision Statement:
To provide support and education in order to save lives, end animal suffering, and ensure animal wellness by building a community where people value companion animals as lifelong, cherished family members that are treated with respect and kindness.

Board Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Meetings are open to public. If you would like to attend, please email director@hsnmb.org for meeting location information or invitation to ZOOM meeting. If you would like to apply to become a board member you can please fill out an application.
