VOLUNTEER WITH US

Volunteers of all ages are the backbone of our organization. Volunteers work both in and outside the shelter. You too can do your part and help those in need.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers of all ages are the backbone of our organization.

Volunteers, working both inside and outside of the shelter, are a vital part of our organization. With their help, we are able to meet our mission of saving homeless pets! You, too, can be a part of this mission and join a team of compassionate animal lovers.

What does it take?

First, there are a few questions you really need to ask yourself:

  • Do I enjoy interacting with people?
  • Am I ready to make a firm commitment to the animals today and give my time?
  • Am I at least 11 years old?
  • Am I ready to roll up my sleeves and jump in?

If you have answered YES to all of the questions, then you are ready to fill out a Volunteer application.

*Please note if you need service hour credit for school, court, or church please submit a Community Service Application.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Bathing Animals
  • Feeding Cats
  • Walking Dogs
  • Answering Phones
  • Cleaning Cages
  • Washing Dishes
  • Coin Can Collecting
  • Transporting Animals to Vets
  • Building Maintenance
  • Working at Fund Raising Events

Youth volunteers 11 and 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 13 years old and up can work without a parent or legal guardian present. Youth volunteers can help clean cat cages, feed and water cats, bathe puppies and wash dishes.
