4th Annual In The Dog House (Kennel Lock In Fundraiser)

Overview of Event:

Participants will be “locked” in the kennel to raise donations to be rescued.
Photo to be taken in the kennel. The photo will be promoted online to secure donations via a donations link.
Physical “lock-up” for a 2-hour period on the day of the event (April 20^th) which will be live-streamed on Facebook.
“Top Dog” award for the most funds raised in support of the Shelter.

Details:

The participant should schedule a date/time to come to the shelter to get a photo taken in the kennel from March 18th – April 12th, 2024. This photo will be used on the fundraising web page. Contact Sue at admin@hsnmb.org to schedule a date/time. In the event a participant cannot get to the shelter for a photo, they may take a photo and email Sue at admin@hsnmb.org.

The participant will fill out a kennel information sheet. This sheet will include the photo of the participant (“locked in”) along with details about the participant that will help them raise their donations. This sheet will be shared on HSNMB social media to promote the event and the participants. Participants will set their own adoption fee to be rescued from the kennel. The participant may start collecting donations (cash/checks) from March 25th through April 20th at 10 p.m.

The participant will schedule a two-hour block to sit in the kennel on April 20, 2024. The times that will be offered will be as follows: 9:00 – 11:00 am and 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. A chair, water, and snacks will be provided. This is the time when the participant will heavily promote the kennel lock in via their personal social media accounts and calling/texting to ask for donations. The participant may bring props and anything else they think will help them receive more donations! We will be having challenges and other activities going on throughout the day.

The participant who raises the most donations will receive the “Top Dog” award.
