This Family Friendly event begins with a short paddle out to one of the last remaining uninhabited islands along the South Carolina coast. After landing your kayak, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along the private shores of this nature preserve while searching for sand dollars and shells deposited by the previous tidal swing.
This island is also a large sea turtle nesting site and if you wish, our guides are happy to guide you to these locations for an up-close experience.
This small group tour will finish with a paddle back alongside the salt marshes of Cherry Grove, giving you the added benefit of seeing the ecosystem up-close and personal.
Kayak, paddle, life-jacket, pre-paddle instruction, and a local professional guide are all included. We’ll have everything waiting waterside for you when you arrive!
No previous paddling experience necessary.
