Join us this Saturday, June 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a FREE VACCINE EVENT right here at the shelter! DAPPv canine and HCP feline vaccines are free, and rabies vaccines will be available for just $10 and microchipping will be offered for $15.

The free vaccines are made possible through Petco Love’s new national vaccination initiative, which is providing one million free pet vaccines to existing animal welfare partners, including The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, for family pets in need. We are so excited to partner with Petco Love to help get your fur babies vaccinated!

Parvovirus and distemper in dogs and panleukopenia in cats — the most prevalent deadly diseases affecting pets — are preventable with a simple vaccine. An estimated 30% of pet parents do not take their pet to a veterinarian annually for preventative care. To ensure the health and wellness of our beloved pets and to address this critical need, The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach and Petco Love have partnered to make pet vaccines free and accessible.

    CALLING ALL ANIMAL LOVERS

Can you imagine how a dog feels living in a kennel? Can you imagine how confusing and intimidating it is to come to a new place with people you don’t yet know if you can trust? Would you be able to shut out the constant noise? Would you be able to trust a complete stranger to save your life?

We are challenging animal advocates to be "locked-in" here at our shelter with the goal of raising their “adoption fees” to help us save more animals in our community! By spending just one day in a kennel, YOU will help change countless lives! This year we encourage you to invite your family and friends to come to the shelter. We will be having challenges and other activities going on throughout the day.
